Job Description - Secretary
a) Shall record and prepare the minutes of all meetings to be reviewed and accepted at the subsequent meeting, and have them signed by the President.
b) Shall promptly and properly action all correspondence and maintain file copies readily available for the President.
c) Shall maintain files of all documents and communications pertaining to the affairs of the Association.
d) Type all correspondence on behalf of JdFMHA.
e) Following AGM, submit appropriate documents to the Societies Act in Victoria, BC within two weeks of AGM.
f) Ensure AGM is publicized at least two weeks prior to AGM.
g) Retain copies of all minutes, correspondence and mail.
h) Mail Executive lists to BCAHA, VIHA each year prior to BCAHA AGM.
i) Remind all expected attendees of upcoming JdFMHA Executive meetings.
