Job Description - Head Coach, Coach Mentor, Development

a)     Technical position responsible for the development of coaches within JdFMHA, and through them, the technical evaluation of player development.

b)     To communicate new or improved coaching techniques and developments to coaches throughout the season.

c)     To maintain technical information, such as booklets and tapes on coaching and make them available to the coaches throughout the season.

d)     Solicit coaching applications for the upcoming season, interview potential coaches, and make selection recommendations to the JdFMHA Executive.

e)     Coordinate on ice programs, player evaluations, coach development, and concerns for the Executive. 

f)       Provide report on Division status & issues.

g)     Oversee tryout process.

h)     As players are established as playing at various levels, complete coaching selection process as quickly as possible to allow other teams to begin play as soon as possible.
