Volunteer Requirements


REQUIREMENTS

A list of all courses and certifications, including costs and how to obtain is located at the bottom of this page.

NEW: All volunteers must complete:

  1. Login This can be found by logging into your Spordle/Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) account by clicking on the link below. 
  2. Select 'Register for Clinics' in the upper right corner 
  3. Find your clinic needed. Coaches will want to start with the HU-Online first.

Managers
  1. Must attain  Respect in Sport (RIS)  Certification.
  2. Must submit a  Criminal Record Check (CRC)  form.  
  3. Must complete ( CATT)  free online 25 minute course before going on HCR.

 

Executive

Criminal Record Check

Cost: free (volunteers exempt from the otherwise $50 charge)

Recertification: 3 years
Method: On Line
Completion Time: 72-96 hours while those requiring fingerprinting can be up to 6 months

Upon completion -  Clearance letters can take 2-3 weeks to be processed .  Please email  office@jdfminorhockey.com  a copy of your Submission number provided at completion to avoid any delays being added to your team.   

If you need to attend the RCMP office to complete a CRC please print the letter below, add your info and take it with you to avoid the $50 fee.

Cost: paid by credit card $176.40 and reimbursed by Association upon successful completion by March 31st of that season

Method: E Learning (4 hours) + (1) 8 hour day course
Completion Date: December 1
